As a client, you are responsible for:
- Ensuring that all items to be moved are properly packed and prepared for transport.
- Providing us with accurate information regarding the nature and quantity of items to be moved.
- Ensuring that the moving environment is accessible and safe for our movers.
We are not responsible for any damages or losses to items that were not properly packed, or for any injuries or accidents resulting from improperly prepared or dangerous moving conditions.
6. Liability
While Lawtey Movers takes every precaution to protect your items during the move, we are not liable for:
- Damage caused by weather conditions, road accidents, or any other factors outside our control.
- Loss or damage to items that were not packed properly by the client.
- Indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.
For moves involving high-value items, we recommend that clients obtain additional insurance coverage. Lawtey Movers offers limited liability coverage for goods in transit, which can be discussed during the booking process.
